We offer education for homeowners and board members throughout the year.   Our Conference, Legal Symposium and Condo Inc. programs provide access to industry leaders who are experts in their fields.  You can find information on upcoming events by visiting our EVENTs page. Membership includes discounts on all CAI-Connecticut Events.

 

We highly recommend attending a Condo Inc. program.   This is program is absolutely the BEST investment of time and money and covers legal, financial, insurance & long-term planning.  This program is offered 3 times a year, so plan ahead!  

 

The Common Interest Ownership Act (CIOA) is the Connecticut Statute that provides the legal basis for Common Interest Communities in the State of Connecticut.   It is important for homeowners and board members to have a general knowledge of the statute.   Our CIOA page is a great place to start.

Any person who provides association management services for a fee and includes any partner, director, officer, employee or agent of such person who directly provides association management services on behalf of such persons is required to be licensed with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP).  Please visit the DCP website for more information.

 

Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB) administers the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®)   Please visit www.camicb.org for more information about CMCA certification and CMCA recertification.
